Student Costume Contest Winners

Southeastern Technical College students and faculty/staff have been participating in #STCSpiritWeek. The lineup of events included #ManicMonday, #TakeMeBackTuesday, #Whimsical Wednesday, and #ThinkPositiveThursday.

A Costume Contest was held during lunch on Wednesday on both campuses. At the STC Swainsboro Campus. Criminal Justice Instructor, Nolan Martin, delighted everyone with his portrayal of Clark Kent, the well-known fictional character with the secret identity of the superhero Superman.

BONE YARD TEMPORARY CLOSING

Beginning this weekend, the Boneyard downtown venue will be closed in preparation for the beginning of construction for the renovation project to take place there.  All yard sellers and flea market vendors are to use the parking lot behind the county courthouse for their Saturday morning activities.  It is anticipated that the update and renovation of this area will take between 8 and 10 months.  Please spread the word to … Read More

East Georgia State College will reopen for students, faculty and staff at the Swainsboro and Augusta campuses on Thursday, September 14.  EGSC Statesboro campus classes are cancelled Thursday and Friday, September 14 & 15, and will resume Monday, September 18. 

Faculty and staff at all three EGSC campuses are to report Thursday, September 14.

Based on predicted weather conditions from Hurricane Irma, East Georgia State College is cancelling all classes and college events on it’s Swainsboro, Statesboro and Augusta campuses on Friday, Sept. 8, Monday, Sept. 11 and Tuesday, Sept. 12.
