Pastor Harvey Rackins led the prayer of invocation, Harley Paul led the reciting of the pledge to the U.S. flag, and music selections were directed by Tiffany Worthen and featured speaker Reverend Johnathan Hampton.

Following the lighting of candle performed by Mamie Pierce and words ministered by Reverend Hampton came the insulation of officers FY 2019-2020, who were sworn into oath by the Honorably Emanuel County Probate Judge Don F. Wilkes.

Many guests were present for this event and closing remarks were made by President Percey Hodges prior to adjournment of optimist creed.
