September 18

Officer responded to an address on North Main Street in reference to a shoplifting.

September 20

Officer made a traffic stop after a driver failed to yield/stop at an intersection. During this traffic stop, officer learned the driver had no insurance on the operating vehicle. The vehicle was towed and the driver was issued two citations. Officer made a traffic stop In reference to a driver traveling the wrong way down a one-way street. During the traffic stop, officer learned the driver’s licenses were suspended. An arrest was made.

Complainant reported a gun being stolen from his vehicle.

September 21

Officer responded to an address on Lucky Street in reference to a stolen vehicle.

Officer made a traffic stop in reference to a vehicle with no tag light. During the traffic stop, officer learned that the driver’s license was suspended, the vehicle had no registration, and the driver had a warrant issued for his arrest. The driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Emanuel County Jail.

Officer responded to an address on Calhoun Street in reference to a report of a theft.

 911 dispatched officer to an address on South Circle Drive in reference to a theft.

Officer responded to an address on Prosperity Drive in reference to a miscellaneous report.

Officer was dispatched to a Harden Drive address in reference to a shed being broken into by a known subject.

Officers assisted GSP with a pursuit that ended on Oak Street, in which the driver fled the scene once crashing into a wooded area. During an inventory conducted on involved vehicle, officers located suspected illegal drugs as well as the identification of the driver who fled. It was further discovered that the driver is an affiliate of a street gang known as the Gangster Disciples and has an active warrant for his arrest. The involved car was towed to the city impound lot and Laurens County was notified in the event the offender, being a resident of that county, is located or a vehicle matching the description of the one involved is reported to be missing.

Complainant reported his slot machines possibly being hacked by three male subjects. One of the involved three males was said to be bragging on purchasing drugs with money collected. This same individual matched the description of the offender that GSP and SPD were in pursuit of.

September 22

Officer was dispatched to an address on Braswell Blvd. in reference to a domestic dispute. 

911 dispatched officer to an address on Lucky Street in reference to a disorderly house.

Officer responded to 117 Kite Rd. in reference to a report of a dog bite.

September 23

Complainant reported unauthorized use of a financial transaction card.

911 dispatched officer to an address on North Anderson Drive in reference to a theft. 

Officer responded to an address on New Street in reference to a dispute.
