Priscilla Riner Hooks, 45

Funeral services for Priscilla Riner Hooks, 45, of Statesboro were held Friday, September 27, 2019, 11 a.m. in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Rev. James Tippins officiating. Interment followed in the Eastbrook Cemetery and Mausoleum. The family received friends one hour prior to service at Chapman Funeral Home. She passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2019.

Miss Priscilla Riner Hooks was born October 18, 1973 to Larry Riner and Debbie Riner. She enjoyed horses, barrel racing, and fishing. She loved her children and was preceded in death by her daughter, Taylor Hooks.

Survivors include her son, Chase Hooks of Swainsboro; father; Larry (Melissa) Riner of Vidalia; mother, Debbie Riner of Swainsboro; maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Smith of Statesboro; paternal grandparents, Raymond and Ava Riner of Swainsboro; brother, Kris (Joanna) Riner of Vidalia; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.  

Pallbearers were Roger McKenzie, William Burke, Jamey Donaldson, Chris Wilkerson, Alan Robinson, Chris Wheeler, Chesley Dixon, Dustin Miller, and Ron Templeton.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Taylor Nicole Hooks Memorial Scholarship Fund.

Chapman Funeral Home of Swainsboro was in charge of arrangements.
