Griffis, D’Alessandro win crowns at annual pageant

The 42nd Annual Miss Emanuel County Scholarship Competition was held Saturday, October 5.

Miss Emanuel County 2019 went to Allie Griffis while Miss Southeast Georgia 2019 went to Gabrielle D’Alessandro.

First runner-up in the Miss division went to Sydney Hillman, who also won Evening Wear/Social Impact Statement. Ansleigh Williams received second runner-up. People’s Choice went to Marti Ann Bailey. Addie Freeman received the Bob Ritchie Photogenic Award, and Griffis won Talent, Congeniality, as well as the Alyssa Beasley Overall Talent Award.

Miss Emanuel County’s Outstanding Teen 2019 went to Kylin Miller, who also won Evening Wear/On-Stage Question. Freeman is Miss Southeast Georgia’s Outstanding Teen 2019. First runner-up went to Talent winner Sydney Smith, and Kaitlyn Frisk received second runner-up.
