Swainsboro High School is celebrating homecoming this week with many activities to go along with the theme “Cannot Tame Our Tiger Pride.” Dress-up days included Mime Day on Monday, Twin Day on Tuesday, Animal Day on Wednesday, Circus Day on Thursday, and Spirit Day on Friday.

Additionally, each grade level selected representatives to serve on homecoming court. Ninth graders are Daniella Delgado and Lawren Wadley, 10th graders are Ashlyn Deloach and Jada Murphy, and 11th graders are Ray’Shonna Hooks and Caroline Mason. Four senior girls and four senior boys will vie for the title of king and queen. They are Ka’Yun Davis, Andy Martin, Blake Williams, Kade Youmans, Sh’nyah Ellison, Imani Harmon, Kimberly Rios, and Jessalynn Young. Crowning will take place at halftime during Friday’s game against Cross Creek.

The annual homecoming parade on Tiger Trail will begin Friday at 1:30 p.m., followed by a pep rally in the new gym. Go, Tigers!
