Deputies with Emanuel County Sheriff’s Office reported…

August 23

Victim reported criminal trespass and terroristic threats.

Complainant reported a hit and run.

August 24

Deputy responded to an address on Falcon Trail in reference to a domestic dispute. An arrest was made.

Deputy was advised of a possible offender involved in a burglary by a complainant. Contact was later made with the involved offender and an arrest was made.

Deputy assisted in mediation between two individuals regarding a civil matter.

Deputy responded to a private property crash.

August 25

Deputy made an arrest after being notified of a wanted person.

Deputy responded to a dispute between two neighbors on Mitzi Lane.

Deputy responded to a private property crash.

Victim reported damaged property and disorderly conduct. The involved offender was arrested.

Deputy responded to Country Acres Subdivision in reference to firing of a weapon calls being received. No contact was made with an involved suspect.

Complainant reported criminal trespass.

Deputy made a traffic stop after 911 received two phone calls regarding a driver operating at high speeds while traveling within the area. During the traffic stop, the driver advised that he knew that he was speeding and when asked, denied having drugs inside of the vehicle. The driver later admitted to having drugs in the vehicle, and advised the deputy as to where they could be found. An arrest was made and the driver was transported to the Emanuel County Jail.

August 27

Victim reported theft by taking of aluminum cans from a property on Williams Street.

Victim reported a civil incident.

Complainant reported three fishing poles being stolen from a vehicle.

Deputies were dispatched to Highway 297 South in reference to a pedestrian being struck. The victim was transported by ground to Memorial Hospital.

August 28

Deputy responded to an address on Meeks Road in reference to a welfare check.

Deputy responded to an address on Georgia Avenue in reference to a domestic dispute.

August 29

Deputy responded to an address on Johnson Powell Drive in reference to a domestic dispute.

Complainant reported burglary by forced entry.

Deputies responded to an address on Georgia Avenue in reference to a domestic dispute.

Deputy responded to Kea Old Mill Pond Rd. in reference to a vehicle fire.

August 30

Complainants reported a missing person.

Deputies were dispatched to an address on Hawhammock Church Road in reference to a theft by taking of a 4-wheeler.

Deputy responded to an address in Twin City in reference to a possible burglary that had occurred.

Deputy responded to East Main Street at Lake Luck Drive in reference to a possible stolen four-wheeler being located in a wood line.

Complainant reported a private property crash.

Deputies were dispatched to an address on Holstein Road in reference to a burglary by forced entry.

August 31

Victim reported TPO violation, harassing communications, and fraud by illegal use of financial transaction card.

Deputy responded to North Old Reidsville Road and Sam Overstreet Road in reference to an abandoned vehicle with a missing motor.

September 1

Complainant reported a private property crash.

Deputy assisted GSP with a single vehicle crash on I-16.

September 2

Complainant reported a private property crash.

Deputy made a traffic stop which led to an arrest.
