State revenues came in at a negative -2.8% for August, taking in $50.3 million less in August this year than last. Total revenues were $1.753 billion for the month.

Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Mrs. Robbie Tanner Mason, 75, of Swainsboro, on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at Pruitt Health Nursing Home.

Graveside services were held Sunday, September 15, 2019 at 4 p.m. at Swainsboro City Cemetery with Rev. Franklin Sasser officiating.

Funeral services for Lottie Faye Hall, 77, or Treutlen County were held Friday, September 13, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Johnson Chapel Holiness Church in Treutlen County. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Reverend James Salter and Nephew Wally Salter officiated. Ms. Hall died Wednesday morning, September 11, 2019.
