Swainsboro-Emanuel County’s Great Promise Partnership Program earns Cornerstone Community Status

Swainsboro-Emanuel County was recognized at the Georgia Municipal Association’s Annual Convention as a Great Promise Partnership (GPP) Cornerstone Community, Silver Level. GPP Cornerstone Communities are those communities who successfully implement the GPP model, which develops a pipeline of high school graduates prepared to answer Swainsboro-Emanuel County’s workforce needs.
GPP is a public-private partnership that empowers and equips at-risk students to complete high school while gaining real-world job skills and experience, creating a path to personal success and the workforce of the future. Engaging with GPP offers Georgia employers an opportunity to address the critical need of recruiting and developing the next generation of workforce talent.
