Sign up for Twin City’s July 4th Summerfest Fun Run and Patriotic Parade!

The patriotic festival will kick off at 11 a.m. with “Chase the Chief,” a one-mile run. The course is set, and t-shirts are printed! The police chief will get a head start, and the runners’ mission is to tag the chief with a handful of color. The first 10 adults and first 10 children to finish will receive free t-shirts! Sign up starts at 10:45 at the Welcome Center.

If running isn’t your forte, the golf cart and four-wheeler parade may be for you!  Sign-up and line-up will begin at 1:30 p.m., or interested parties may sign up early at the Twin City Welcome Center. There are three categories: golf carts; four-wheelers, and tractors; bicycles and tricycles; and wagons.  Come with your entry already decorated, or you can add decorations during sign-up, so come early!  Winners in each category will receive a free gift card to Lew’s Barbeque!

For more details, call the Twin City Welcome Center at 763-269, or pick up a flyer at Twin City City Hall.
