The following are reports from the Emanuel County Sheriff’s Office…
A deputy responded to a vehicle fire on Highway 80/Eagle Pass.
A complainant stated that an offender had been accessing his personal information after his cell phone was stolen at the Pine Tree Festival.
A complainant filed a report after an offender came onto her and her husband’s porch and threatened them, saying they “better watch their backs” and that he would “burn their house down.”
A complainant on Tapley Road stated that the batteries and the connectors had been stolen from an excavator on a piece of property he was clearing for a client.
Deputies helped resolve a domestic dispute.
Deputies responded to a domestic dispute on Bonsue Drive in Dellwood.
A victim filed a family violence report after she and her boyfriend got into an argument about infidelity, at which point he physically abused her.
Deputies responded to a TPO violation and disturbing the peace call on Bonsue Drive and Marilyn Drive.
A complainant met with deputies and stated that his boss gave him a counterfeit $100 bill as payment.
An offender on Waterbury Street in Adrian stated that he was cutting grass and accidentally flung a rock with the mower. The rock hit the passenger side of a victim’s truck and caused extensive damage.
Deputies arrested an offender with an outstanding warrant on Bob White Road.
A deputy responded to a nuisance animal call.
A complainant on Price Williams Road reported that someone had tampered with her mail.
A complainant on Quick Loop stated that wedding rings were missing from her jewelry box.
Deputies responded to a domestic dispute on Injunction Road.
A deputy was advised that a person on Old Kenfield Road in Oak Park had been shot. Deputy spoke with the patient and the offender, both of whom were at the airport awaiting the victim’s transport by helicopter. According to both individuals, the incident was accidental; they were trying to clean the gun and did not ensure the firearm was cleared before pulling the trigger. EMS advised that the bullet went through one leg, passed through the scrotum, and was lodged into the other leg. Patient was turned over to AirEvac, and an investigator was contacted about the issue.
A witness filed a report after she watched a vehicle drift into the left ditch and hit a culvert before coming to a rest at the intersection of Oak Grove Church Road.
Deputies responded to a disorderly conduct/family violence call on Highway 80 East.
A deputy was dispatched to an Oak Park business in reference to a disorderly person.
A deputy was dispatched to a domestic dispute on Fairground Road.
A complainant on Old Boatright Road in Garfield filed a report after his mailbox was hit by a vehicle for the second time this year.
