April 29

Officer was dispatched to an address on Alice Circle in reference to damaged property.

Complainant reported misplacing a WIC voucher.

SPD staff dispatched officer to 120 North Main Street in reference to a probation warrant. An arrest was made.

Officer was dispatched by Emanuel County 911 to an address on Bell Street in reference to a criminal trespass report. Upon arrival, complainant informed officer than an unknown male has been coming into her yard and cutting the collars off of her dogs in attempt to steal them.

Emanuel County 911 dispatched officers to Project Street in reference to a large crowd fighting in the streets.

April 30

Officer was dispatched by Emanuel County 911 to an address on Kite Road in reference to a dog bite.

Officer was dispatched to an address on South Main Street in reference to a dispute.

Officer responded to the police department in reference to a report involving an unknown offender making terroristic threats.

Officer made a traffic stop in reference to a mini bike being operated on roadways.

Officer was dispatched to the police department by SPD staff in reference to a report involving an unknown subject taking pictures of a complainant’s residence.

Complainant reported a miscellaneous report.

Emanuel County 911 dispatched an officer to an address on Brown Street in reference to stolen property.

Officer was dispatched to an address on South Coleman Street in reference to a vehicle repossession.

May 1

Victim reported a robbery that occurred during the month of April. It was further stated that the victim was waved down by an offender who stated having a question. When stopping to assist, the offender grabbed the victim out of the truck and told an additional offender to take the victim’s wallet.

Officers were dispatched to an address on North Coleman Street in reference to an unknown person in a house.

Complainant requested a report be made in reference to a verbal agreement made to purchase a vehicle being broken. It was stated that a downpayment was made on the vehicle in the amount of $100. Since this payment, offender has ignored contact efforts made by the complainant.

Complainant made a miscellaneous report.

While assisting with a traffic stop, officer left the scene to perform an additional traffic stop in reference to failure to move over for emergency vehicles. Once making contact with the driver, officer learned the driver had an active probation warrant. An arrest was made.

Officer responded to an address on North Main Street in reference to a hang-up call. Upon arrival, officer learned a male subject had been harassing other individuals at the location. An arrest was made.

Officer made a traffic stop in reference to driving with suspended license, operation of vehicle without a valid tag/decal, and lack license plate display. An arrest was made.

Officer made a traffic stop in reference to the use of operating a vehicle while using a cellular device. During the stop, officer learned the operator of the vehicle was driving with suspended license. An arrest was made.

May 2

Officer was dispatched to an address on Lee Street in reference to a dispute. Upon arrival, officer learned the complainant had an active warrant through Toombs County. An arrest was made.

Officer made a traffic stop after driver failed to regard a red light while operating a vehicle using a cellular device. Upon making contact with officer, the driver provided a fake name and date of birth. The driver admitted to lying about said identity due to having an active probation warrant. The passenger of the vehicle also had an active warrant. Both were arrested.

Officer was dispatched to an address on South Main Street in reference to a shoplifting. An arrest was made.

Officer made a traffic stop in reference to an uninsured vehicle, suspended registration, and no license on person.

Officer responded to an address on South Main Street in reference to a dispute.

Officer responded to an address on West Main Street in reference to a physical altercation.

Officer was dispatched to an address on West Moring Street in reference to a damaged vehicle.

Officer was dispatched to an address on West Church Street in reference to a well fair check.

Complainant reported a damaged vehicle.

An additional complainant reported a damaged vehicle.

May 3

Officer was dispatched by Emanuel County 911 to an address on King Circle Drive in reference to a prowler. Upon arrival, complainant informed an unknown offender rang the doorbell of the residence in the early morning hours. It was further reported that the offender was seen inside a vehicle parked in the yard before retreating on foot.
