Rev. Davis to visit Piney Grove

Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church of the Cross-Green Community will welcome Reverend Kenneth Davis for revival. Services will be held May 7 through May 9 at 7 p.m.
Rev. Davis was born February 7, 1963 in Jefferson County. He was born again on April 17, 1985 at the age of 22. He is married to the former Miss Phyllis Gilmore and together, they have three children: Kasey, Katrina, Cassandra. Their four grandchildren are Mardrez, Logan, Jordyn, and L’moni.
Rev. Davis was educated in the Louisville School System, where he graduated from Louisville High School in 1981. He continued his education at Jacksonville Theological Seminary in Jacksonville, Florida and Liberty University. He received his Bachelor of Biblical Studies at Emmanuel Bible College.
Rev. Davis is currently the pastor of First African Missionary Baptist Church in Kingsland.
Piney Grove will celebrate its 151st anniversary on May 12 at 11 a.m. Michael Thomas, pastor of the host church, will bring the message. Lunch will follow.
