Dear Emanuel County,
The first week of May is nationally recognized as Teacher Appreciation Week. Emanuel County will join other communities around the country in honoring and celebrating the commitment of our outstanding teachers. From maintenance and food service workers, to administrative and support staff, and everything in between, it takes a whole community to provide for the needs of our students.
We commend our employees for choosing to work in an invaluable profession where the standards, expectations, and challenges are ever changing. Our teachers and staff inspire a diverse population of children growing up in Emanuel County. They display patience, understanding, and persistence in their dedication to the success of our young learners. As our teachers assist students in finding their path for the future, our county will grow stronger. Without a doubt, our employees contribute to building our community one student at a time.
We truly appreciate the meaningful work that our employees do every day, not just this one week in May. I encourage our community, students, and administrators to take a moment to recognize and appreciate our faculty and staff throughout the month of May. When sharing your photos and comments on Facebook and Twitter make sure to use the hashtag #EmanuelInspirations so we can see how our schools and community are celebrating!
On behalf of the School Board and Central Office, it is my privilege to extend a heartfelt message of gratitude for the work that our employees do. I have personally witnessed their effort, dedication, and sacrifice. I am incredibly honored that our teachers and staff have chosen the Emanuel County School District as a place to make a difference in the lives of others.
