Deputies with the Emanuel County Sheriff’s Office (ECSO) reported…

May 6

Complainant reported theft of automobile.

Complainant reported an unknown subject continues to play loud music in the area of Wallerwood Circle.

Complainant reported a lost or mislaid firearm.

Victim reported a known offender entering a residence and stealing change without permission. Loose change was also reported being missing from vehicle at residence.

Deputy responded to the area of Magnolia Drive in reference to a private property crash.

May 7

Complainant reported discovering his dog bleeding from the mouth and believed a single small gunshot wound below it’s right ear. Deputy was further advised by complainant of hearing a gunshot prior to locating dog.

Deputy made an arrest in reference to order of state court.

Deputies responded to an address on Ehrlich Farm Road in reference to a domestic stipulate.

May 8

Deputy responded to an address on Miller Drive in reference to a burglary by forced entry. Upon further investigation, deputy was informed by witness of seeing two male subjects coming from behind the victims home and reported one to be wearing a black hoodie.

May 9

Complainant reported a prowler on her property. Contact was made with offender. Officer learned of the two involved subjects both having TPO’s out on each other. The offender was advised to leave.

Deputies responded to an address on Oak Park Highway in reference to a welfare check.

Deputies responded to an address on Hereford Road in reference to a domestic dispute to have just occurred. An arrest was made.

Deputies responded to an address on Turkey Trail in reference to an unwanted guest. The offender left fled the scene on foot once deputies arrived.

May 10

Complainant reported loaning offenders a washing machine and not receiving listed property back once offenders had their own.

May 11

Complainant reported harassing communications.

Deputy made a traffic stop due to a driver’s failure to stop and stop sign and failure to maintain lane. A sobriety test was performed and offender refused to give breath sample. An arrest was made.

May 12

Deputy had an abandoned vehicle removed from US. 1.

Deputies responded to an address on Overstreet Road to assist EMS.

Witness reported a private property crash.

Deputy responded to the area of Fairground Road in reference to an assault. Involved parties were separated and advised of property civil steps to take.

Deputy responded to an address on Nunez Lexsy Road in reference to a theft of automobile. It was further reported that the offender made contact with an additional driver, which he threatened to harm if not taken to an address in Swainsboro. Deputies then responded to address where offender was taken to. A search was performed at the residence and the offender was found laying face down in a back bedroom. The offender was then taken to victims for identification, which was a positive indication of person responsible for the theft. The offender was then transported to the Emanuel County Jail for theft of motor vehicle, kidnapping, and aggravated assault.  Two additional offenders were also arrested for obstruction.

Deputies were dispatched to an address on Scarboro Church Road in reference to disorderly conduct.

May 14

Deputy made a traffic stop on I-16 in reference to a reckless driver. During the stop, deputy learned the driver was operating involved vehicle with suspended/revoked license while watching a streamed video while driving. An arrest was made.

Complainant reported a lost or stolen tag.
