Barnes, Anderson win Easter coloring contest

The winners of this year’s Easter coloring contest are Ellison Anderson and Alyssa Barnes.

Ellison is the 6-year-old daughter of Adam and Vicki Anderson of Register. She is in Miss Meeks’ first-grade class at Nevils Elementary School of Statesboro. In her spare time, she enjoys coloring and crafts, swimming, riding her four-wheeler, and hunting. Ellison plans to invest her earnings into her savings account.

Alyssa is the 9-year-old daughter of Kim Morgan Barnes and Jr. Barnes of Metter. She is in Miss Hatcher’s third-grade class at Twin City Elementary. Alyssa enjoys participating in gymnastics at Double Dose Gymnastics and staying active with workouts her spare time. Barnes is currently saving her earnings and plans to buy organizing supplies with her funds.
