Holy Convocation 2019 services to begin next week

Junior Beta members donate to Weekend Blessings

David Emanuel Academy’s (DEA) Junior Beta recently presented a $750 check to Weekend Blessings as part of the club’s service project for the 2018-2019 school year. Students raised funds for this donation through bake sales and dress-down days.


Food processing center to open doors next week

Did you know about the community food processing center located at ECI? The center, operated by Emanuel County Schools’ agricultural education staff and students, will be open Monday through Saturday, June 3 through July 3. The facility will be closed the remaining month of July due to renovations at ECI.

Glad Garden Club ends year on high note

   Private funeral and interment services for Jaylen Chalker, 15, of Swainsboro were held at Eastbrook Cemetery, Mausoleum, and Chapel. She passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at her residence following an extended illness.
