Mr. Edward Glover, affectionately called Eddie, was born October 2, 1934 in Emanuel County to the late Matilda and Leroy Otis Glover Sr. The family moved to New York in 1946, where he attended the public school system of New York City. Glover was the father figure of the family and assisted in helping his mother raise and care for his siblings. In 1963, he married Andrea Edwards and to this union, two sons were born, David and Dwayne. Glover held numerous jobs in New York City, his last being at a photo company in the Empire State Building. He looked forward to annual road trips to Georgia to and spending time with his mother, siblings, and grandmother. Sitting on the porch of the family house was a great joy for him and he loved to talk about recently purchased land with plans to move back to Georgia someday. In 2011, Glover relocated from Bronx, New York to East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. As his health began declining in 2018, he moved to Genesis Rehabilitation Center in Allentown, Pennsylvania. He was well known for his favorite phrase “Righ On!,” and loved his family dearly. In addition to his parents. Glover was preceded in death by his siblings, Lillie Mae Ingram and Leroy Glover Jr.
Arrangements of services were entrusted to Judd-Beville Funeral Home of Allentown and Mosley’s Funeral Home of Swainsboro.
