Mercer wins Miss DEA Pageant

David Emanuel Academy held its annual pageant on Saturday, Feb. 23, and Laila Mercer was crowned Miss DEA 2019.
Grace Catherine Hood placed first runner-up and was named Miss Photogenic. Chloe Calhoun received second runner-up, Carrie Newsome third runner-up, and Kaitlyn Reininger fourth runner-up. Carli Patterson received Miss Congeniality and People’s Choice.
Addalyn Terwilliger won the Young Miss division. Journey Morris finished first runner-up, and Jayden Slater was second runner-up.
The Little Miss Princess division was won by Rayleigh Faircloth. Sophie Young was named first runner-up, and Amelia Wilkes was named second runner-up.
Lillian Collins received the crown for the Little Miss division. First runner-up was Amelia Daughtry, second runner-up was Milly James Farmer, third runner-up was Blakely Holland, and fourth runner-up was Weslee Fields.
The Tiny Miss crown went to Lexa Jukes. Berklie Bishop and Jillian Davis were first and second runners-up respectively.
