Car rear-ends cow trailer

On Thursday, March 7, Emanuel County 911 dispatched emergency personnel to Highway 57 in reference to a two-vehicle accident.

Upon arrival, a Hyundai car was found inside the rear-end of a cattle trailer transporting cows. At the time, it was reported that the driver of the Hyundai did not notice the truck carrying cattle was attempting to make a turn, which resulted in the crash.

There were no fatalities reported.

Responding to the scene were Emanuel County sheriff’s deputies, Emanuel County EMS, Swainsboro and Stillmore fire departments, and troopers from Post 19 of the Georgia State Patrol.
