Sarah Kay Mosley Akridge, 41

   Funeral services for Sarah Kay Mosley Akridge, 41, of Swainsboro were held Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Revered Robert Beckum and Speaker Keith Johnson officiating. Interment followed at Stillmore City Cemetery. She passed away Thursday, January 31, 2019.

Ms. Sarah Kay Mosley Akridge was born in Metter on June 23, 1977 to Sarah Slater Mosley of Stillmore and the late Hardwick Mosley. Akridge was a lifelong resident of Swainsboro and served as manager of Dollar Tree for the past 10 years. She loved Christmas, watching the Patriots play, and watching wrestling. Akridge was a one-of-a-kind lady, who never met a stranger and loved every person she came in contact with.  She lived her life to the fullest and enjoyed every day. You never saw her without a smile on her face. Akridge was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one niece, Cheyanne Hair Mosley.

Survivors include her mother; daughters, Samantha Hadden of Swainsboro, daughter of Lon Hadden, Abigail Page of Twin City, daughter of Loron Page, and Natalie Akridge of Swainsboro, daughter of Jim D. Akridge; brothers, Donnie (Nancy) Slater of Stillmore, Richard (Elayah) Mosley of Swainsboro, and Kenny Paul Mosley of Stillmore; sister, Jennie (Dale Brown) Moxley of Twin City; special cousin, Hope (Matt) Glisson of Swainsboro; and a host of several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Pallbearers were Blake Edenfield, Matt Slater, Paul Slater, Matt Glisson, Cameron Beasley, and Roy Jones.

Chapman Funeral Home of Swainsboro was in charge of arrangements.
