ECI honors fall student-athletes

The ECI Bulldogs held their annual fall awards night recently to honor student athletes involved in football, softball, and football cheerleading.

The cheerleaders were recognized and presented with certificates for their spirited support of the football team. These ladies were at each of the 12 games this season weathering the heat in August at Rountree Stadium to the cold in November in Pelham.

Head softball coach Frank Wimberly, along with assistant coach Abigail Cowart, recognized and presented the softball team with their season awards. This marks the fourth consecutive year the team has won the region championship.

Players selected for all-region honors and receiving all-region plaques were first team honorees Baylee Moseley, Jada Downer, Ansley McQuaig, Zera Edenfield, and Allana Hooks. Allana was also selected as the region’s player of the year for the second consecutive year.
