December 26

Complainant reported deposit account fraud to an out-of-state bank.

Complainant reported theft by conversion.

Officer responded to East Pine Street in reference to a stolen vehicle. When the vehicle in subject was located and stopped, officer found that the driver/offender did not have a license.

While patrolling the area of Modoc Road, officer found two male subjects who appeared to be asleep inside a vehicle at the stop sign located at the intersection of Modoc Road and Hill Street. After both admitted to drinking the passenger was allowed to call to be picked up. The driver, however, was transported to the county jail.

Officer was dispatched to South Racetrack Street in reference to a domestic dispute. Upon arrival, officers were met by a female at the door who advised she had been asleep and was home alone. After the officer was informed of an active warrant for the female, she was placed under arrest and transported to the jail.

December 27

Officer responded to North Coleman Street in reference to a damaged vehicle.

Officer made a traffic stop, which led to an arrest.

Officers made two arrests.

December 28

Officers were dispatched to Jackson Street in reference to a 1-vehicle accident.

Complainant reported harassing communication.

December 29

Officer responded to Stevens Drive in reference to criminal trespassing on private property.

December 30

Officer was dispatched to North Main Street in reference to theft by taking.

Officer responded to the area of The Boneyard in reference to terroristic threats and acts.

Officer responded to Old Nunez Road in reference to a domestic dispute.

Officer was dispatched to West Moring Street in reference to criminal trespassing on private property and disorderly conduct. Upon officer’s arrival, a male subject was found in his vehicle sitting in the front yard. Upon securing the above-mentioned individual, officer located a Ruger 9MM in the center console. When asked about the other person involved in domestic, he reported that the offender approached him with a handgun wanting $100 that was owed to him. The offender replied that the gun is for personal protection. It was reported that the offender never threatened him or pointed the gun at him.

Officer made a traffic stop that led to an arrest.

December 31

Officer was dispatched to South Main Street in reference to a domestic, which led to an arrest.

Officer was dispatched to East Main Street in reference to an alarm call.

Officer responded to Kathleen Road in reference to a prowler around the house with a flashlight.

Complainant reported a dispute over a purchased phone that was later found out to still be under contract with three additional phones. When asked for a refund, the offender did not comply and told the victim he would report the phone as being stolen and receive it back.

Officer was dispatched to Gumlog Road in reference to a domestic in progress.

Officer responded to Arden Drive in reference to a complaint about dogs.

Officer made a traffic stop.

A different officer made a traffic stop.

Officer was dispatched to Victory Drive in reference to disorderly conduct.

January 1

Officer responded to South Main Street in reference to an unruly employee who the manager wanted removed from the premesis.

Complainant reported a dispute.

Officer made an arrest in reference to the possession of marijuana less than an ounce.

January 2

Officers helped sheriff deputies restrain and remove an offender from the courthouse.

Officer responded to McMillian Drive in reference to criminal trespassing on private property. An arrest was made.

Officer was dispatched to East Main Street in reference to a possible theft.

Officer made a traffic stop.

January 3

Complainants reported harassment.

Complainant reported oan unknown offender throwing red paint over the back windows of a property on Injunction Road. It was also reported that the offender took a black magic marker and wrote all over the walls inside.

Officer was dispatched to East Pine Street in reference to a missing jacket.

Officer was dispatched to Turner Drive in reference to a burglary.

Officer responded to South Main Street in reference to a shoplifter in the store. The offender was apprehended and taken to Emanuel County Jail.

January 4

Officer made a traffic stop, which led to an arrest.

Officers were dispatched to East Main Street in reference to an alarm. Upon reviewing cameras on site, it was determined that two male subjects broke into the area at approximately 3:19 a.m. and left at approximately 3:22 a.m. It was also noted that a gun cabinet received damage, but the offenders were unable to steal any firearms.
