Deputies with the Emanuel County Sheriff’s Office reported…
Deputy found a large packaging/shipping box in the roadway between Empire Expressway and Old Nunez Road. Box and its contents were taken to the sheriff’s office for safekeeping until the owner could be located.
Deputy responded to a domestic dispute on Johnson Powell Road.
Complainant reported her license as lost/misplaced.
Complainant filed a theft by taking report after four mud tires with rims and a floor jack went missing.
Deputy reported to North Anderson Drive to evict an offender, which ultimately led to the offender’s arrest.
Deputies assisted the Georgia State Patrol with a 2-vehicle accident at Highway 192 and Lambs Bridge Road.
While running a stationary radar on Highway 56 North, deputy conducted a traffic stop after observing a vehicle traveling 61 miles per hour in a 35 miles per hour zone. Deputy observed an alcoholic odor coming from inside the vehicle, went to his patrol car to check the accuracy of his radar, returned to the driver’s vehicle, and asked the driver to step out and take a breathalyzer test. The driver consented and was arrested for DUI, his vehicle was released to a licensed driver, and the offender was transported to the jail.
Deputies responded to a domestic dispute on Lindsey Road.
Deputies responded to another domestic dispute, this time on East 3rd Street.
Deputies worked with Bryan County Sheriff’s Office to track a stolen vehicle which was traveling through the confines of Emanuel County on Highway 1 North Bypass. Offender was apprehended and held for Bryan County, and the vehicle was transported to the county impound lot.
Complainant stated that the offender stole multiple items from her and wanted her jailed for the offense. Complainant also stated she did not want the offender to be able to return to her property.
Deputy met with two complainants, who filed a report in reference to a stolen self-balancing scooter.
Complainant stated that someone had come onto his property and ran into the power pole, completely knocking it down.
Complainant reported damage to property.
Deputy was dispatched to Bishop Chapel Church Road in reference to an abandoned vehicle that had been wrecked.
Complainant stated that his vehicle was damaged while driving on Hawhammock Church Road.
Complainant reported automobile theft.
Deputy was dispatched to 344 Oak Grove Church Road in reference to criminal trespassing.
Deputies were dispatched to 164 Highway 46 East in reference to criminal trespassing.
Complainant reported theft by taking and criminal trespassing.
Deputies responded to 168 Lindsey Road in reference to disorderly conduct.
Complainant met a deputy at the sheriff’s office to report his license plate as stolen.
Deputies responded to a residence on Highway 80 West in reference to a fight between two brothers. After speaking with all parties present, the offender was arrested and transported to the jail.
Deputies assisted the Georgia State Patrol with a single-vehicle crash.
Deputy responded to Odomville Church Road to work a single-vehicle crash.
