29th Community Prayer Breakfast to be held

It is again time for the annual Community Prayer Breakfast! This event has been held annually in January for the past 29 years. This year, it will be held inside Swainsboro Middle School’s auditorium, and the services will begin at 8 a.m. on Saturday, January 12.

The theme scripture for the prayer breakfast is 2 Chronicles 7:14: “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

Therefore, all of God’s people are invited to come and unite in prayer. Healing and spiritual covering for the community will be specifically prayed for, and God’s protection and guidance will be sought for families, homes, schools, businesses, churches, governments, the military, and area children.

The prayer breakfast is sponsored by The Good News Outreach Ministry. It is also supported by Men Reaching Men and the Emanuel County Ministerial Alliance. Door prizes will be given away. No admission will be charged.
