SAR workshop held in Swainsboro

In response to a request from Sonny Pittman, vice president of the East Region of the Sons of the American Revolution (SAR), the Wiregrass Chapter hosted a registrar workshop Saturday, December 1, from 9:30 a.m. until noon inside New China Restaurant’s conference room.

The workshop was the first of its kind. Its purpose was to adequately train registrars to prepare applications which will more than likely be approved without extra effort. The workshop was open to any members who wanted to learn more about application preparations.

In order to provide a quality event, the Wiregrass Chapter reached out to Bob Sapp, registrar of the state society, for advice. Sapp immediately volunteered to present a program.
