Please use caution as overnight temps drop- Black Ice Possible

Temperatures:

  • Overnight minimum temperatures will dip into the mid 20s to lower 30s mainly along and north of a line from LaGrange to  Griffin to Lexington.
  • Fall below freezing between 7PM and 9PM in the highest elevations of north Georgia. Elsewhere, temperatures will begin to drop below freezing after 10PM.
  • Rise above freezing between 9AM (metro Atlanta) to 11AM (highest elevations).

Most Likely Areas for Black Ice:

  • Secondary and untreated roadways.
  • Bridges and overpasses
  • Porches, sidewalks and decks
