He’s making a list, he visited twice!

When your city has a motto “Twice as Friendly, Twice as Nice,” Santa will take the opportunity to visit twice.
All the way from the North Pole, Santa arrived just in time for the Christmas tree lighting event on Thursday, November 29.
The community gathered on the lawn at the welcome center as mayor Eileen Dudley welcomed the group and lit the Christmas tree. The lights on the tree represent memories of loved ones who are remembered this time of the year. The names were read “in honor of” or “in memory of” by Huddie Culbreth, Twin City Main Street manager. Adam Akridge and members of ECI’s marching band played musical performance of Christmas carols, and after the tree lighting, residents enjoyed pastries and cocoa.
After having to postpone the Christmas parade due to inclement weather, Saint Nick returned to Twin City on December 8 for the annual Christmas parade. Residents lined the streets of Twin City as the cavalcade made its route through town. Culminating at the welcome center, all relished in refreshments provided by Twin City Volunteer Fire Department. Children had an additional opportunity to have their photographs made with Santa and to whisper their Christmas wishes.
Thanks to the community and all involved in these events.
