DEA Junior Beta sees state runner-up finish with Living Literature performance

Last week, David Emanuel Academy’s Junior Beta chapter comprised of elementary and middle school students traveled to Savannah for state convention.
While there, the elementary students participated in the Living Literature competition. Their re-enactment of the poppy scene in the Wizard of Oz movie, the students placed state runner-up.
Also, seventh grader Ella Claire Claxton finished third in the state with her Digital Arts entry.
The chapter won a growth award for 10 percent increase in club participates as well.
