Wade Johnson and Zac Frye, representatives of Durden Banking Company (DBC), presented a program called “Get Smart About Credit” to senior students at Swainsboro High School (SHS) on Thursday, November 29. This program is designed to promote financial literacy to upper high school and college students about budgeting, paying for college, opening accounts, credit and credit scores, and financial security. Students were able to participate in a spending simulation that showed how easily money can be spent and were given tokens of appreciation by DBC.
