Mr. Zachary Scott Ivey Bracco was born September 3, 1987, in Queens, New York, to Grenell Tracy Ivey and Zachary Bracco. He was the middle child of three. Known affectionally to many as “Bo,” short for Bojangles, “Shoes,” or Scott, when in trouble with his grandmother. The family moved to Spring Valley, New York, in 1992, where he began his education. Bracco graduated from Morris Brown High School in 2005. Growing up in Spring Valley, he was involved in many actives, including Cub Scout, Air Force Cadet, and karate expert. Bracco was also very active in football, basketball, and played in several New York City top leagues and tournaments. He was very proud to hold the opportunity to be under the tutelage of Coach Willie Worsley, acclaimed point guard for NBA New York Jets. Following high school, he attended John Jay College for a few years before joining the workforces as a security guard, and later worked in construction with Iron Workers Union in New York. Bracco was soft spoken, laid-back, and humorous. He was known as a big loving teddy bear, who loved to laugh and have fun. Bracco loved his family and friends, and was a true gentleman, always ready to lend a helping hand. He was a counselor to many, always having good advise to share. Bracco was a man of many beliefs and walked with God everyday. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jeanette Tiny, Marion Ivey, George Bracco, and Elizabeth Jackson.

Survivors include his parents, one brother, Zaire David Ivey Bracco; sister, Rosalind Harrison Dixon; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Pallbearers were family and friends.

Mosley’s Funeral Home of Swainsboro was in charge of arrangements.
