Wood completes master’s in nursing

Recently, Charlotte Lorene Wood completed her Master of Science in Nursing through an online program with Aspen University based in Denver, Colorado.
Completing the course with a GPA of 3.97 and graduating magna cum laude, Wood was invited to join Sigma Theta Tau, an international honor society for nurses, and the Delta Epsilon Tau National Honor Society, an honor society for graduate students achieving academic excellence.
The daughter of Charlotte Edna Wood of Swainsboro and the late Carl Wood, she is a 1976 graduate of Swainsboro High School and a 1994 graduate of Armstrong State College of Savannah, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She is employed by American Renal Associates and serves as clinic manager of the Swainsboro Dialysis Clinic. Wood stays active in community involvement; she is president of the Southern Professional Nurses Chapter of the Georgia Association of Nurses and is an active member of Eastwood Church of God, occupying the positions of clerk and treasurer.
