Wiregrass, Brier Creek Chapters attend Siege of Savannah event

On Tuesday, October 9, three members of the Georgia Society Sons of the American Revolution traveled to Savannah to participate in the annual Siege of Savannah battle event. The event began at 7 a.m. with a march from the Savannah History Museum and ended a short distance later at Battlefield Memorial Park. 

During the march, flintlock rifles and cannons were fired. At the end of the march, participants were seated on the battlefield and the ceremony began.
