Davis to serve as Grand Marshall at Midville Christmas parade this weekend

The City of Midville will host its Christmas parade this Saturday, December 1. Line up will start at 1 p.m. on North Railroad Street, and the parade will begin at 2 p.m. This year’s Grand Marshal will be Lieutenant Colonel (Ret) Joel Davis Jr., formerly of Midville.

LTC Davis is a retired veteran of 31 years in the U.S. Armed Force as military intelligence office. His most recent assignment was a professor of military science and ROTC commander at Fort Valley State University and Albany State University. Currently, he is serving as associate minister of Word In Season Ministries of Wanter Robins.
