Deputies with the Emanuel County Sheriff’s Office (ECSO) reported…

October 19

Deputy responded to Highway 57 East in reference to an abandoned vehicle.

October 20

Victim stated that an offender assaulted her.

October 22

Complainant filed a report in reference to a burglary at the fairgrounds.

Complainant alleged that an offender had failed to pay him a debt. Deputy referred the complainant to the magistrate.

Deputy assisted with a child custody dispute.

Another complainant alleged that an offender had not paid a debt to him.

Complainant filed a report in reference to assault/battery.

Offender filed a report after an object on the back of his pick-up truck damaged an individual’s vehicle.

October 23

Deputy assisted with a child custody dispute.

Deputy met with a complainant at the jail in reference to a civil matter.

October 25

Deputies responded to Ogburn Drive and investigated a burglary.

Deputy arrested an offender with an outstanding warrant on Woodchuck Road.

Via phone call with a deputy, a complainant filed a report in reference to vehicle damage.

Deputy arrested an offender with an outstanding warrant on McKenzie Drive.

October 26

Complainant stated that a red Ford pick-up truck struck her as she attempted to pass it on Old Reidsville Road.

Complainant’s vehicle was damaged by a rock while traveling behind a semi on Old Nunez Road.

October 27

Deputy arrested a female offender on drug-related charges after she consented to the search of her vehicle.

Deputy responded to a domestic dispute on Strawberry Circle.

October 28

Deputy responded to the local hospital and met with an individual who looked to file a report after accidentally being struck by a racecar earlier that evening.

Deputy responded to Highway 297 in reference to an unwanted intoxicated person. Complainant stated that the allegedly drunken offender had started making sexual gestures at her. Once asked to leave, the offender became irate and walked back to his residence, then returned holding a machete and a large bread knife in an attempt to intimidate those on the property. Offender was apprehended and transported to the jail.

October 29

Deputies assisted Swainsboro Fire Department with a vehicle fire on Oak Grove Church Road.

Deputies responded to a domestic dispute/aggravated assault with cruelty to children on Hereford Farm Road.
