Watt completes cybersecurity training

In mid-June of 2018, Dwight Watt began instructor a training course, Cisco CCNA Cybersercurity Operations, from Stanly Community College in North Augusta. He completed this course on Saturday, August 25.
Requirements of this 70-hour course included a 13-chapter test, more than 60 labs, a final exam, as well as a lab final.
The course taught how to prevent and identify threats to a network and computers. Items including learning how to identify threats, how to prevent threats, and what to do when your organization has been attacked. A number of tools were used in class, including Security Onion, and also looked at different operating systems and threats.
Watt is pleased to announce he is now a Cisco-approved instructor, which moves him deeper in a new area of IT by teaching in cybersecurity. He also teach classes in networking, computer support, web design, and programming.
