Swainsboro High School (SHS) began its Homecoming celebrations this week. The freshman class chose Esterella Bustamante and Hollan Coleman as representatives; sophomores chose Rayshonna Hooks and MaKenzie Terry; and junior class selected Sh’Nyah Ellison and Kimberly Rios.

Four senior boys and four senior girls were nominated to represent the Class of 2019. They are Charlsey Kelly, Kassidi Phillips, Ja’Naiya Rivers, and Ta’Kayla Williams, Noah Fultz, Davis Lamb, Casey Sanders, and Keenan Williams.

The student body will vote Thursday, September 13, and Homecoming King and Queen will be announced during halftime at Friday’s game on September 14.

Homecoming activities this week included dress down days to go along with the theme “Tigers Got Game.”  The traditional parade will be held along Tiger Trail Friday afternoon, beginning at 1:30 p.m.,  followed by a pep rally at SHS’s gym.
