EMC Auxiliary disburses two scholarships

   The Emanuel Medical Center (EMC) Auxiliary group presented its annual Employee Tuition Scholarship to two recipients for the 2018-19 school year, Chelsea Jones and Rayne Binns, both of Swainsboro. 

   Dot Fagler, Kathy Barton, and Lynn Wright presented Binns with a $500 scholarship, and Wright presented Jones with a $500 scholarship.

   Binns has been employed with Emanuel County Nursing Home for more than one year as an LPN. She will continue her education at Southeastern Technical College to become a registered nurse. She says, “When I become a RN, my goals are to do my best in whatever job I fill. I would like to continue to view my job as a calling to treat all people with respect, care, and compassion.”  In response, RN Judy Waters stated, “Rayne is dependable, compassionate and a true leader.”

   Jones has been employed with Emanuel Medical Center for three years as a certified nursing assistant. She will continue…
