When life gives a church member lemons

by | August 22, 2018 4:57 pm

On Wednesday, August 8, Emanuel County Live, The Forest-Blade’s web outlet, interviewed Jaxson and Lawton Wiggins live on Facebook.

Each year, the two boys set up a lemonade and ice cream cone sale to raise funds for their church, Nunez Baptist.
This year’s event, the Wiggins boys raised a total of $78 dollars.
With $75 in cash, they put the funds in a “thinking of you” card and delivered it a fellow church member who is battling medical issues. They say the funds will help with the church member’s medical expenses.
Jaxson and Lawton saved the remaining $3 in change to purchase supplies for a future sale.
