Lady Dawgs score 22 with two wins

   The ECI softball team picked up a couple wins last week, defeating Swainsboro and Wheeler County both in five innings.
   Playing larger class teams in a couple of tournaments early in the season is paying off for the Lady Dawgs. During the two games, the Bulldogs’ offense scored 22 runs while the pitching and defense allowed just 3 runs to cross the plate.
   Wednesday, ECI hosted Swainsboro, defeating the Tigers in five innings by a score of 10-2.
   The Bulldogs took a 2-0 first inning lead and put runs on the scoreboard in every inning during the game.
