Durinda Glover Jackson, 65

   Funeral services for Durinda Glover Jackson, 65, of Twin City were held Friday, August 3, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Peebles-Curry Memorial Chapel with Rev. William Jackson officiating. Interment followed at Coleman-Twin City Cemetery. She passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2018, at Hospice House in Savannah.

   Mrs. Durinda Glover Jackson was born January 15, 1953, in Atlanta, DeKalb County, to the late Dwight and Clyde Juanita Hall Glover. She was a Certified nurse assistant and also worked as cook at The Huddle House in Swainsboro. Jackson enjoyed cooking, working with word search, and was a member of Twin City Church of God.
   Survivors include her husband, Don Jackson of Twin City; one daughter, Alicia Eckardt (David Ray Sherwood) of Atlanta; one son, Brandon (Geri) Eckardt of Des Moines, Iowa; one stepdaughter, Courtney Jackson Carter of Lyons; two stepsons, Jeffrey Jackson and Rev. William Everett (Heather) Jackson, both of Lyons; three brothers, Sam Glover, Alton Glover and Edward Glover; four grandchildren, Dresden Sneddon and Kaleb Sneddon, both of Atlanta, and Anna Kayte Eckardt and Judah Shiloh Eckardt, both of Des Moines; and five step-grandchildren.

   Pallbearers were Dresden Sneddon, Kaleb Sneddon, Stephen Boone, Jeffrey Jackson, Jr., Tim Oliver, and Jeremy Oliver.
   Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors was in charge of arrangements.
