Bulldogs scrimmage Savannah Country Day

The ECI Bulldogs returned to the football field Saturday to play a limited scrimmage against the Hornets from Savannah Country Day.
With only three days of practice in pads, the teams agreed to a mini-scrimmage format to begin the season.
Both teams have some big shoes to fill, and scrimmage games like these see how number ones fair up against number ones on the opposing teams.
The Bulldogs lost several productive offensive and defensive players last season and will have a few freshmen that will need to step up to take the place of all-region and all-state players.
The Hornets also have a big shoe to fill in the loss of running back Adam Byck, who had more than 2,000 yards rushing in 2017 and was the AP private school offensive player of the year.
Each team began their offensive series on the 30-yard and would run 10 plays, then turn the ball over to the opposing offense.
