SPD Drug Suppression Unit executes multiple search warrants

After an extensive investigation, the Swainsboro Police Department (SPD) Drug Suppression Unit executed two separate search warrants.
The first search warrant was executed during the morning hours of July 5 at Deluxe Inn on South Main Street. The drug unit staff received information that an individual was utilizing a hotel room at the establishment for the purpose of selling and distributing methamphetamine. Upon entry to the room, officers made contact with one individual inside the room. That individual was arrested on the scene for the charge of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and possession of drug-related objects. The individual was later identified as Timothy Holden, 40, of a Swainsboro address. An extensive search of the room resulted in the seizure of a quantity of crystal methamphetamine of a street value of approximately $300.
The second search warrant was executed by the suppression unit on the morning of July 10 at the address of 304 Lucky Street in reference to the residence being utilized for the purpose of distribution of illegal substances. Upon forced entry, officers quickly…
