Leila Hand Corbin, 94

   Funeral services for Leila Hand Corbin, 94, resident of Swainsboro were held Thursday, July 19, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Emanuel Christian Ministries with Reverend Brad McKenzie and Reverend Bunny Hudson officiating. Interment followed in the Corbin Cemetery in Oak Park. She died Tuesday, July 16, 2017, 2018, at Emanuel Medical Center.

   Mrs. Leila Hand Corbin was born in Emanuel County, daughter of the late Thomas Lester Hand and Annie Lee Stevens Hand. She retired as a food service supervisor at Oceanside Nursing Home on Tybee Island. She was a member of Emanuel Christian Ministries.

   Survivors include her daughter, Sue Ann O’Quinn (Allen) Mitchell of Savannah; sons, Donald (Lisa) Holaway of Swainsboro and George Nelson Corbin of Abbeville; 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and adopted grandchildren, Wendell and LeAnn Powell.

   Pallbearers were Tommy White, Kip Farthing, Jerry Odom, Billy Johnson, David Parham, and David Edenfield.

   Tomlinson Funeral Home and Crematory of Swainsboro was in charge of arrangements.
