If you fail tp appear, the court can terminate your parental rights in your absence. Any biological father, known or unknown, is hereby notified that he will lose all rights to the children and will not be entitled to object to the termination of his rights to the children unless, within thirty days of receipt of this notice, he files:

(a) a petition to legitimate the children pursuant to O.C.G.A. 19-7-22; and

(b) notice of the filing of the petition to legitimate with the Toombs County Juvenile Court.

If the court at the trial finds that the facts set out in the petition to terminate parental rights are true and that termination of your rights will serve the best interests of your children, the court enter a judgment ending your rights to your children. If the judgment terminates your parental rights, you will no longer have any rights your  children. This means that you will not have the right to visit, contact, or have custody of your child or make ant decisions affecting your children or your children’s earning or property. Your children will be legally freed to be adopted by someone else.

Even if your parental rights are terminated:

(1) You will still be responsible for providing financial support (child support payments) for your child’s care unless and until your child os adopted; and

(2) Your child can still inherit from you unless and until your child is adopted.

This is a very serious matter. You should contact an attorney immediately so that you can be prepared for the court hearing. You have the right to hire an attorney and to have him or her represent you.

If you cannot afford to hire an attorney, the court will appoint an attorney if the court finds that you are an indigent person. Whether or not you decide to hire an attorney, you have the right to attend the hearing of your case, to call witnesses on your behalf, and to question those witnesses brought against you.

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF
SEWERAGE SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS
EMANUEL COUNTY DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY

Sealed proposals will be received by EMANUEL COUNTY DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY at 102 South Main Street, Swainsboro, Georgia, 30401 until 2:00 P.M. local time, Thursday, July 19, 2018 at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read.  No submitted bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days.

All Bidders must have a State of Georgia Utility Contractor License and must employ a state “Utility Manager” certificate holder who will have oversight of all the work.

Work to be done: The work to be done consists of furnishing all materials, equipment and labor for the construction of:

Division One:  Force Main

Construction of approximately 63,091 L.F. of 6-inch PVC force main and      2,939 L.F. of 6-inch fusible PVC force main by directional bore, 762 L.F. 12-inch steel casing by jack and bore, 12 combination air and vacuum release valves and manholes with appurtenances and storm water monitoring.  Time allotted for this work is 240 consecutive calendar days.

Division Two:  Sewage Pump Stations

Construction of three (3) duplex raw sewage pump stations and corrosion inhibitor systems including site work, wetwell, piping, fencing, access drive, electrical, pumps, painting, and all appurtenances.  Time allotted for this work is 240 consecutive calendar days.

Proposals for the complete work in one or more general contract(s) shall be made on the proposal forms provided and shall contain prices in words and figures.

All proposals shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond drawn in favor of EMANUEL COUNTY DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY, in the amount of at least 10% of the lump sum bid for the complete work; such Bid Bond representing that the Bidder, if awarded the contract, will promptly enter into a contract and furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bond as provided by law and approved by the Attorney for EMANUEL COUNTY DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY.  Each bond shall be equal to 100% of the contract amount.  The Bid Bond shall be forfeited to EMANUEL COUNTY DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY as liquidated damages if the Bidder fails to execute the contract and provide Performance and Payment Bonds within ten (10) days after being notified that he has been awarded the contract.

Drawings and Specifications are open to public inspection at the office of the EMANUEL COUNTY DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY, at the office of Turnipseed Engineers, in Augusta and Atlanta, Georgia and the Atlanta Builders Exchange in Atlanta.

Copies of the plans and specifications may be obtained from Turnipseed Engineers, 4210 Columbia Road, Building 3, Augusta, Georgia 30907, upon receipt of the following amounts:

Reduced Drawings Available (Extra Set) $200.00

Digital copies of the documents are not available.

Upon receipt of all documents in undamaged condition within thirty (30) days after the date of opening of bids, one-half of the deposit will be refunded.

The difference between the deposit and the amount refunded represents the cost of reproduction.  No refund will be made for documents received after thirty (30) days or in damaged condition.

The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.

Altamaha EMC proposes to construct a 340’ guyed communications tower approximately 1,100 feet east of the intersection of Wheeler Way and Georgia Highway 297, near Soperton, in Emanuel County, Georgia.  Wireless telecommunications antennae will be placed on the tower and related equipment shelters will be placed at the base of the tower.  In accordance with regulations implementing Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act, Altamaha EMC  hereby solicits public comment concerning the effect of its proposal on historic properties.
