Family Connection to continue summer program in July

Family Connection is continuing its Summer Literacy Programs throughout the month of July. There are still four more scavenger hunts for books, and new activities will be book-themed parties at Franklin Memorial Library.

The first party was held Tuesday, July 10, at 11 a.m., and the theme was “Pete the Cat at the Beach.” The first 100 children to register with the library by the Friday prior were able to attend the fun event.

Family Connection would like to thank the Swainsboro Fire Department for being its secret business to give out books for the scavenger hunt last week. Don’t forget to find this week’s clues on Emanuel County Family Connection and Franklin Memorial Library’s Facebook pages!
