Emanuel County 4-H’ers win honors at state 4-H horse show

   After riding against 4-H’ers from all parts of Georgia, five Emanuel 4-H’ers returned from the state 4-H horse show with honors. Winning 4-H’ers were Claire English, Ashlyn Collins, Trace Peebles, Zaylee Morris, and Haley Henry.

   English, daughter of Sam and Jessica English, placed second in Junior English Showmanship, Junior Equitation, and Junior Pattern Equitation. She also placed third in Plantation Pleasure. She was Overall Junior Grand Champion and qualified for Southern Regionals in August.

   Henry, daughter of Chad Henry, placed sixth in Junior English Showmanship, first in Junior Equitation and Plantation Pleasure, and fourth in Junior Pattern Equitation. She was Junior Reserve Champion and also qualified for Southern Regionals.
