Czech named counselor at EGSC-Swainsboro

   East Georgia State College is proud to announce the hiring of a new counselor for their Swainsboro campus, Melinda “Mindy” Czech.

   “Ms. Czech comes with a wealth of experience working with individuals and groups, and she is excited to support student mental wellness and welcomes students in need of counseling services,” said Dr. Tori Kearns, Interim Assistant Director of Counseling and Disability Services at EGSC.

   Originally from Orlando, Florida, Czech attended Georgia Southern University for her bachelor’s degree and returned in 2004 to earn her master’s in counselor education, then recently earned her Ed.S. degree in 2017. A former springboard diver, she found that she was burnt out and decided to attend Georgia Southern University to get away from her home area.
