Miss Durden, Mr. Tatum announce engagement

   Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Kelmer Durden Jr. of Savannah are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Ellen Caroline Durden, to Mr. Zachary Brandon Tatum. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Brad Tatum of Glennville.

   The bride-elect is the maternal granddaughter of the late Mr. Walter Edward Chance and Mrs. Fayette Chance of Twin City. She is the paternal granddaughter of the late Rev. and Mrs. Herbert Kelmer Durden of Swainsboro.

   Miss Durden is a 2010 honor graduate of Savannah Christian Preparatory School. In 2014, she graduated with a Bachelor in Business Administration in Finance from Georgia Southern University. She is currently employed as an accounting administrator with JH Parker and a real estate agent with Southbridge Greater Savannah Realty.

   The groom-elect is the paternal grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Tatum of Glennville. He is the maternal grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Delmas Jones of Glennville.

   Mr. Tatum graduated from Pinewood Christian Academy in 2010. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance with a minor in entrepreneurship from Georgia Southern University in 2014. He is currently employed with Yancey Bros. Caterpillar as an outside sales representative.

   The wedding is scheduled for Saturday, September 8, 2018, and will be held in Savannah. Formal invitations to follow.
