GSSDAR second vice regent makes trip to Swainsboro to install new local DAR officers

   OB McCorkle from Warrenton, second vice regent of the Georgia State Society Daughters of the American Revolution (GSSDAR), installed the newly-elected officers of the Governor David Emanuel-Adam Brinson Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, during the local chapter’s May meeting held at Lynn Torrance’s home.
   Using the “Colors of the Rainbow,” McCorkle assigned a color to each office, described the duties of the office, and challenged the each of the new officers to fulfill her duties to the best of her ability.
   Installed were Jane Durden, regent; Torrance, first vice regent; Diana Malone, second vice regent; Cheryl Goodman, recording secretary; Ann Lawson, corresponding secretary; Connie Page, treasurer; Judy Womack, registrar; Kaye Stephens, chaplain; Kay Lewis, historian; Martha Cobb, librarian.
